Abductors of the Nassarawa CAN chairman demands N20m.

The gunmen who abducted the Nassarawa Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) chairman Bishop Joseph Masin, have  has demanded N20 million ransom from his family.


According to reports from LIB yesterday peace masin, the Bishop's son said seven armed men suspected to be Fulani herdsmen stormed their home about 11pm on Tuesday, may 27 and abducted their father.

An update on the abduction, the state CAN vice chairman Pastor Tayo Samuel told New Telegraph that the abductors has contacted the family and are demanding a ransom of N20 million.
He said;

“Early this morning (yesterday), the kidnappers contacted one of his sons through his telephone and demanded 20 million. The negotiation is ongoing.”

The state Commissioner of Police, Bola Longe has however disclosed that the police are already on the trail of the kidnappers.
