Akwa Ibom State set for reopening of schools from Monday September 21 after Covid-19 lockdown

The Akwa Ibom state government has announced a phased reopening of all schools within the State from Monday, September 21, 2020.

State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Ini Emem-Obong, made this known at the end of the State council meeting in Uyo, the state capital.

As Nigeria seems to be flattening the Covid-19 curve, Akwa Ibom is joining some states in Nigeria to reopen schools with a timetable of resumption of educational activities at all levels including tertiary institutions.
